Private drum lessons
One-to-one sessions on the studio kit — built for adults who want clear grooves, not school-band nostalgia.

What a session covers
Lessons run thirty or forty-five minutes. We start from your current comfort on the kit: posture and grip if you are new, or independence and feel if you already play. Every plan mixes technique with music you actually want to play — rock, pop, soul, jazz basics, or electronic-hybrid grooves on the mesh station.
Notation stays practical. You leave with a short exercise sheet, a metronome target, and a recording tip for home practice. We do not sell “pro careers”; we sell reliable timing and musical taste you can use in bands, home studios, and community stages around Gothenburg.
- Warm-up: stick control, foot independence, quiet dynamics
- Groove block: backbeat, ghost notes, fills that serve the song
- Listening: play along to a track you choose
- Cool-down: one takeaway to practise before next week
Who these lessons suit
- Adults starting drums for the first time after years of wanting to try
- Players returning after a long break who need structure again
- Band members fixing timing issues before a recording date
- Electronic kit owners who want acoustic feel and quieter pad technique
- Anyone who prefers evening slots after work rather than daytime student hours
Bring your own sticks if you have them; otherwise we lend a pair. Headphones are available when neighbouring rooms are busy. Parking nearby is limited — tram to Domkyrkan or Grönsakstorget is usually simpler.
Lengths and booking
Thirty-minute lessons suit focused technique work. Forty-five minutes leave room for a longer play-along and a short recording review. Flex lesson cards and monthly plans are listed on the conditions & options page. To hold a recurring evening, write us with two preferred weekdays.
